Anne Hiller is currently Vice President of Marketing for 41st Parameter, and previously was Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for MessageWay Solutions. She has over 25 years of experience in high-tech marketing and business development at Ocius Marketing Group, LLC; Identity Engines; and WholeSecurity. She has had success in multiple start-up ventures in Silicon Valley, Austin, Tex.; and Michigan. Hiller’s introduction to entrepreneurship began as an employee at NeXT, Inc., founded by Steve Jobs. She also served as Vice President of Marketing for Hipbone, Inc., and in other managerial positions with large public corporations. Hiller has a B.A. in General Business Administration from the Eli Broad College of Business and an MBA from Santa Clara University. She has served on the Broad School’s Alumni Association Board of Directors since 2004.

Jessica McGarrow is Group President for WSI Talent-Workforce Strategies, Inc. (WSI). WSI is a privately-held research, recruiting and staffing company that is part of the EPI Group, a full-service advertising agency, packaging design house, commercial and digital printing and staffing service provider. McGarrow joined EPI in 1999. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and an MBA from the Broad Graduate School of Management’s Weekend MBA program. She has served on the Broad School’s Alumni Association Board since 2010, as a member of the Broad Executive Forum of Detroit Board since 2009, and is Past President of the Weekend MBA Alumni Board.

Erik Qualman is the author of Socialnomics: How Social Media Transforms the Way We Live and Do Business. Socialnomics made Amazon’s #1 Best Selling List within three weeks of publication and is consistently in the Top 100 Best Selling Business Books List. Qualman is a frequently requested international speaker of the Fortune 500 and has been highlighted in numerous media outlets including: BusinessWeek, The New York Times, CNET, San Francisco Chronicle, Mashable, USA Today, Forbes, CBS Nightly News, and The Huffington Post. He has shared the stage with Ford CEO Alan Mulally, Lee Scott (CEO/Chairman Walmart), Jose Socrates (Prime Minister of Portugal),Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo (Nokia CEO), Julie Andrews, Al Gore, and Sarah Palin. He also has one of 2010’s most viral videos on YouTube in “Social Media Revolution.” Qualman teaches digital marketing in the MBA program at the Hult International Business School. For the past 16 years Qualman has helped grow the online marketing and e-business capabilities of many companies including Education First, Cadillac, EarthLink, Yahoo, Travelzoo and AT&T. Qualman holds a B.A. from Michigan State University and an MBA from The University of Texas. Qualman was Academic All-Big Ten in Basketball at MSU.

Cheri Speier is a Professor of Information Systems and former Associate Dean of MBA and MS Programs at the Broad Graduate School of Management. Her research interests include the influence of work environments on decision making, individual acceptance and use of technology, effective user training environments, and the effective use of information technology to support supply chain relationships. Speier’s work has appeared in journals such as MIS Quarterly, Decision Sciences, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and the Journal of Marketing among others. Speier was awarded the MSU University-wide Teacher Scholar Award, recognizing her excellence in teaching and research. She earned a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems at Indiana University.
