Jim Bosscher is Senior Vice President and Treasurer for Trinity Health, responsible for all tax and treasury activities for 44 hospitals in seven states. Previously he was Assistant Treasurer of Ford Motor Company for over 27 years in a number of global and financial leadership roles including Director, Term Debt and Securitization, Assistant Treasurer, Ford Motor Credit, and Treasurer, Ford Credit Europe. He is active in chartable and community service organizations in Southeast Michigan. Bosscher earned a B.A. in Finance from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University and an MBA from Wayne State University. He has served on the Broad School’s Alumni Association Board of Directors since 2008.
Gerry McNamara is a Professor of Management at Michigan State University. Previously, he was a member of the faculty at the University of California, Riverside and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. His research focuses on examining the effects of behavioral factors, organizational practices, and strategic positioning on organizational decision-making and risk taking. He has published in the Academy of Management Journal, the Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and the Journal of International Business Studies, and was recognized in the New York Times, The Economist, and Business Week. His research on hyper competition in markets was honored by Emerald Management Reviews as one of the top-50 articles published in business journals in 2003. He currently serves as an Associate Editor for the Academy of Management Journal. He has previously served on the editorial boards of the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Organization Science, and the Strategic Management Journal.
Bill Nunan is Chief Executive Officer for Nunan Venture Services and past Senior Vice President of Operations at vAuto. Nunan has had several assignments with Reynolds & Reynolds, which focuses on technology services for automotive retailing. These include Vice President of International Operations and Control, Director of Strategy and Business Development, Senior Director of Business Development, and Senior Director of Acquisitions and Alliances. He has also held executive posts at J.D. Power and Associates, Networkcar, and Core Communications. Nunan began his career at Ford Motor Company as a Financial Analyst. He earned his MBA in Finance from the Broad School and received the Broad School’s Young Alumni Achievement Award in 2003. He has served on the Broad School’s Alumni Association Board of Directors since 2005.
Bob Wiseman is the Eli Broad Legacy Fellow of Management. Wiseman earned his Ph.D. degree in Strategic Management from the University of Minnesota, and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Before joining Michigan State University, he was an Assistant Professor at Arizona State University. His research on strategic risk taking and executive compensation has been published in the Academy of Management Journal, the Academy of Management Review, Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Journal of Economic Behavior and Organizations. He has served on the editorial boards of the Academy of Management Journal, and The Journal of High Technology Management Research, and has won several distinguished reviewer awards from the Academy of Management.
