Breslin and Berkowitz Insider Tour Score a behind the scenes look at the Jack Breslin Student Events Center and the Berkowitz Basketball Offices. The Breslin is a multi-purpose arena at MSU, home to MSU sports teams and the main large performance arena for Mid-Michigan. The adjacent Alfred Berkowitz Basketball Complex features an auxiliary gym; support offices for coaches and players; a historical basketball display area; and a video review room with leading-edge technology. Tours available Thursday, September 23, starting at 1:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. (Limit 30 persons per tour session.)
MSU Exhibitions Museum Tour Three floors of public exhibitions showcase the cultural and natural science collections and research of the museum. Staff-led tours will let you scope-out the exhibitions and time on-your-own will allow for private time to explore favorites for more in-depth investigation. Exhibits on hand include:
Dear Mr. Mandela . . . Dear Mrs. Parks: Children’s Letters: Global Lessons; Avelution: Birds in the Development of Darwin’s Theories on Evolution; Unpacking Collections explores the legacy of Cuesta Benberry, a significant African American quilt scholar; Sticks Strings and Shadows: Puppets of Asia; Hall of Animal Diversity.

GM’s “Green Factory” Tour – Lansing Delta Township Assembly Plant When planning to build a new assembly plant, GM set out to define a plant for the future. The result: General Motor’s new 3.4 million square foot, LEED Gold-certified assembly plant, located in Lansing, Michigan. The Lansing plant is one of the “world’s most environmentally advanced auto manufacturing plants” and is expected to save substantial amounts of energy and water over similar buildings. It is the first automotive plant to receive LEED certification. The plant builds the Buick Enclave, GMC Acadia, and Chevy Traverse.
Tours available Friday, September 24, starting at 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Transportation to and from the facility is provided. Note: Safety requirements prohibit open-toed shoes or high heels in the facility. Please wear regular shoes. No cameras are permitted.
State of Michigan Capitol Tour
Tours encompass the public areas of the Capitol and include visits to the House and Senate galleries. Guides provide historical and contemporary information on the building and the legislative process. An extensive historical restoration, begun in 1987 and completed in 1992, returned both the interior and exterior to their original appearances. The restored building ranks as one of the best surviving displays of the Victorian painted decorative arts in the United States.
Campus Walking Tour
Recall your memories of college life. Spend a day exploring MSU’s gardens and park-like campus. Walking tour features visits to the MSU Union, a Residence Hall, Beal Botanical Gardens, Beaumont Tower, the Sparty Statue, MSU Library, Wells Hall, and the International Center, while passing by many academic, residential, and athletic buildings.
Golf Clinic, Forest Akers Golf Course
Are you looking to have more knowledge about your swing? Are there some questions you need answered regarding your golf game? Do you need help with a certain shot or club? If so, come to the Golf Center and practice and learn under the watchful eyes of the Golf Center Instructional Staff. The staff at the Golf Center will help you refine your game or help you discover the skills you possess to have more fun in golf. Class ratio is 10 students to 1 instructor. Clinic features: Putting (1 hour); Short Game (1 hour); Full swing (1 Hour). Total cost per participant for this 3-hour clinic $48.
Clinic sessions are offered Friday, September 24, at MSU’s Forest Akers West Golf Course 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Wharton Center Tour
Wharton Center, Michigan’s largest performing arts center, offers more than fifty attractions each year. Whether you enjoy the best in Broadway shows, dance, classic music, or jazz, it can be found at Wharton Center.
A 24,000-square-foot addition (another 9,000 square of existing space was renovated) has dramatically – and quite literally – changed the face of Wharton Center with a striking four-story glass and brick façade; an expanded front lobby, box office and gift shop; and family restrooms and additional women’s restrooms. The new addition also includes two new multi-purpose spaces.

Saturday Pre-Game Tailgate
Join the first-ever all MBA tailgate at MSU before the MSU v. North Colorado game. Conveniently situated just a short walk from the Stadium gates, alumni and current students will gather for fun and MBA community networking.

MSU Football Saturday: MBA Block Seating at the Game
Reserve your seats in the MBA Alumni block in Spartan Stadium for the MSU v. North Colorado game.
Dinner-on-Your-Own (Thursday and Friday evening)
Whether you’re looking for a quiet dinner for two, or a group, Ambassadors from the Greater Lansing Convention and Visitors Bureau will be on hand to assist with restaurant selection and reservations. Ambassadors can also provide information about night spots or other evening events and activities.
Attire
Business casual dress is appropriate for MBA BROADLINK sessions. Most area restaurants do not require a coat or tie. The average late September high temperature in East Lansing is 72° F and low is 49° F, so please pack accordingly. Temperatures may be chillier than expected, so it is recommended that you bring a sweater or a jacket.
